When it's Durga Puja - pandal hopping is a must. Basically this tradition is followed by any Bengali, Assamese or Oriya family. Just after an early morning bath it's time to get ready and visit the pandals; take Puspanjali or blessings from the Goddess; be in queue for a delicious bhog or khichdi; have lots of sweets, misti doi or jalebi; enjoy steaming hot luchi and ghugni from the food stalls; sound of dhak; participate in Aarti or cultural program in the evening and lots more.
