Sharing one of the most healthiest, easiest and tastiest fish recipe below:
Ingredients:
1. few pieces of fish (any fish)
2. mustard paste 1 or 2 tbsp [soak some mustard seeds in water for like 2 hours and grind it to a paste. Add salt while grinding]
3. roughly chop some tomatoes, onions and some fresh coriander / parsley leaves. Optionally slit a few green chillies.
4. crush a few pods of garlic and 1/2 an inch of ginger
5. 1 or 2 tbsp mustard oil
6. salt and turmeric as per taste
7. Banana leaf / aluminium foil
Preparation and Cooking procedure:
Marinate the fish pieces with mustard paste, salt and turmeric. Use a banana leaf and arrange the fish pieces into it. Add chopped tomatoes, onions, chillies, garlic and ginger on top of the fish pieces. Drizzle with mustard oil. Now wrap up the banana leaf and seal it properly. Use a steamer or a pressure cooker to steam it for 20mins - depending on the type of fish may need less or more time. Later garnish with Corriander/parsley leaves - add more mustard oil if you like. Serve it with steamed rice!!
